This Modern Flight crib quilt is made of silky soft Art Gallery Fabric prints and solids. The background color is a soft, peachy pink and the overall aesthetic is the perfect balance of modern and feminine. The quilting is a crinkly, organic cross-hatching in a medium density. Dense enough to provide durability but with enough spacing to keep the quilt soft and give it good drape. If you’ve ever run your hands over Art Gallery Fabrics before, you know how soft this quilt is. If not… you’ll have to trust me. This is definitely the softest baby quilt I’ve ever made!

I was about 15 weeks pregnant when I was making this quilt and, to be honest, I was convinced we would have a girl and this would be in our nursery. So every detail was made with a little extra quilting love. But my gut feeling turned out to be incorrect and we’ll be welcoming a baby boy in September! I’d love for this girl quilt to find a home where it will be loved.

Other notes: This quilt has not had its first wash yet. For the first wash or two, please include two or three color catcher sheets to prevent any color bleeding. Make sure you always wash your quilts in cold water on a gentle cycle using minimal detergent; tumble dry on low or air dry. If air drying, make sure to have the weight of the wet quilt supported properly to avoid extra stress on seams and fabric. Enjoy!
